Women’s Regular Clothing Sizing: most UK women’s sizes are 2 sizes up from US sizes, so if you wear a 10 in the States you will probably wear a 14 in the UK. Of course, it depends on the item and the designer.
Women’s Shoe Sizing: Women’s shoes are generally 2 to 2.5 sizes smaller in the UK than the size in the US. For example, if you wear an 8 in the US, you will probably wear a 5.5 in the UK.
Men’s Clothing Sizing: Men’s sizes are by and large the same in the UK as in the US.
Men’s Shoe Sizing: Men’s shoes typically run about a half size smaller in the UK than they do in the US.
Kid’s Clothing Sizing: UK kid’s clothing sizes are very similar to US sizes. They are often more closely matched with the age of the child so if the clothes are sized to fit a 6 month old they really will – not a 3 month old as they might in the States.
